PORT OF LOS ANGELES TO HOST 10TH ANNUAL CARS & STRIPES FOREVER! JUNE 29

Popular Local Event Delivers a Decade of Fireworks,
Fenders,
Food and Family Fun


SAN PEDRO, Calif. — June 20, 2018 — Kicking off an exciting summer line-up on the LA Waterfront, make sure to head to San Pedro for the 10th Annual Cars & Stripes Forever! on June 29 from 5-10 p.m. at Harbor Blvd. and the Vincent Thomas Bridge. The family event is free and open to all ages.

More than 100 pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles will be on display, surrounded by live bands performing on two stages with Radio Active and Identity Crisis topping the list. A tempting assortment of food trucks will serve up local cuisine, along with an adjacent beer garden. Crowning the festivities will be a dazzling fireworks presentation that begins at 9:15 p.m. 

“Cars & Stripes has become an annual tradition on the LA Waterfront for locals and visitors alike,” said Port of Los Angles Executive Director Gene Seroka. “The popularity of this event speaks for itself, with attendance more than doubling since 2008 – beginning with 10,000 attendees and reaching more than 25,000 in recent years.”

Cars & Stripes Forever! will take place at Harbor Blvd. and the Vincent Thomas Bridge, adjacent to the Fanfare Fountains on the LA Waterfront promenade. A free shuttle to and from Downtown San Pedro will be available, as well as low-cost parking at Harbor Blvd. and 1st Street.
