Lunar New Year Festival

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

Join the Port of Los Angeles in celebrating the fifth annual Lunar New Year Festival, this year, at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium on the LA Waterfront. 2019 is the year of the pig! This free cultural festival offers free parking, free admission, and free entertainment, including face painting, crafts, a petting zoo and fireworks finale! A rain or shine community event.

STEM Funshop on the LA Waterfront

The STEM Funshop is an educational event for students of all ages designed to stimulate the brain with activities centered around Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

World Trade Week Free Public Boat Tours

10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Departing from Banning's Landing Community Center and Downtown Harbor

In celebration of World Trade Week, take a FREE 60-minute narrated boat tour of Los Angeles Harbor, courtesy of the Port of Los Angeles! Tours depart every 30 minutes from two locations in San Pedro and Wilmington. Tour routes are slightly different, so if you joined us in San Pedro last year, why not try Wilmington this year? No need to RSVP - tours are first come, first served. Don’t forget your camera!

11th Annual Cars & Stripes Forever!®

Harbor Boulevard and the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro

Hosted by the Port of Los Angeles, Cars & Stripes Forever!® is a free community celebration to kick off Independence Day weekend, featuring a classic car show (with more than 100 cars built before 1975), an exotic car display, motorcycles, live bands, food trucks, a beer garden, and grand fireworks finale at 9:15 p.m.
