Thank you to our LoVLA Donors

On March 31, 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti named Gene Seroka Chief Logistics Officer for the City of Los Angeles, while concurrently serving in his role as Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles. On April 7, 2020, Seroka launched Logistics Victory Los Angeles (LoVLA) and the LoVLA.org website.

The mission of LoVLA is to expedite the movement of critical medical cargo through the Port of Los Angeles and Los Angeles International Airport, ensuring this priority cargo—isolation gowns, nitrile gloves, N95 respirators, face shields, thermometers and other medical essentials—arrives to hospitals and frontline medical workers as quickly as possible.

Since its inception, LoVLA has received several extremely generous donations of critical medical supplies, which, in turn, have been distributed to local hospitals and frontline medical workers, saving lives. The City of Los Angeles acknowledges and thanks these donors for their generosity in this time of great need.

Working together, we will overcome this pandemic.

THANK YOU TO OUR LOVLA DONORS

Thanks to generous donations from our partners, LoVLA has supplied local frontline medical workers with thousands of masks, gloves, face shields and isolation gowns, along with dozens of gallons of hand sanitizer. Our donors love L.A.— how much do you love L.A.?
