Wilmington Winter Wonderland

Wilmington Waterfront Park

Each year, it snows in Wilmington for one day! Join the Port of Los Angeles at Wilmington Waterfront Park to play in the snow - even if it's warm and sunny outside! Enjoy free snow, face painting, games, and holiday crafts. A free event brought to you by the Port of Los Angeles. (Please note: in the event of rain, this event will be canceled.)

Winter Wonderland

57th Annual L.A. Harbor Holiday Afloat Parade

Saturday, December 7
6-8 p.m.
Various locations along the Port of Los Angeles Main Channel; pre-parade festivities at Banning's Landing Community Center, at 4 p.m.

Sponsored by the Port of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Harbor Holiday Afloat Parade starts in the East Basin near Banning’s Landing Community Center in Wilmington and takes approximately 90 minutes to cover the entire parade route through the Los Angeles Main Channel. Officials and community leaders will take part in the parade as judges or passengers on approximately 60 participating vessels of all shapes and sizes, from tugboats to tall ships.

Lunar New Year Festival

Join the Port of Los Angeles in celebrating Lunar New Year on the LA Waterfront. 2020 is the year of the rat! This free cultural festival offers free parking and free admission, with live entertainment, arts and crafts, face painting, and more.

World Trade Week Free Public Boat Tours

Saturday, May 20
10 a.m.-3 p.m.
San Pedro and Wilmington (specific departing locations TBA)

In celebration of World Trade Week, take a FREE 60-minute narrated boat tour of Los Angeles Harbor, courtesy of the Port of Los Angeles! Tours depart every 30 minutes from two locations in San Pedro and Wilmington. Tour routes are slightly different, so if you were on the San Pedro route last year, why not try Wilmington this year? No need to RSVP - tours are first come, first served. Don’t forget your camera!
