PORT OF LOS ANGELES RESUMES SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Application Period Open Now Through March 31
SAN PEDRO, Calif. – March 13, 2023 – After a three-year hiatus, the Port of Los Angeles is now accepting applications for its 2023 Summer Internship Program. College-enrolled student interns gain hands-on experience working at one of the world’s busiest ports, with assignment opportunities in fields such as engineering, marketing, real estate and more.
The program is open to current graduate and undergraduate students with interest in on-the-job skill building and networking in a dynamic environment.
The 10-week program begins Monday, June 5, and runs through Friday, August 11. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week and should be available to work on-site at the Port of Los Angeles Administration Building, or Port facilities in San Pedro or Wilmington, from Monday-Friday, between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Summer Interns earn between $18.48-$22.91 an hour, based on assignment.
